Walgreens Covid Vaccine/Scheduling – Updated COVID booster Shots have once again ignited the trust and interest of Americans in COVID vaccines. Since the start of omicron, Americans were not much interested in getting vaccination and booster shots.

After that, the Food and Drug Administration of the United States released a press statement and Directed every COVID vaccine manufacturer in the country to start working on a variant-specific booster shot.

On the given directions, Moderna and Pfizer came up with a share bivalent booster shot, and they received approval from the FDA on 31st August 2022. Americans can get themselves vaccinated with updated booster shots that can provide better protection against currently dominating sub-variants of COVID-19.

At the same time, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention also believe that these vaccines can help you prevent any other variant of omicron. • There are two different COVID vaccine manufacturers available, and you can select one according to your preferences.

Walgreens COVID Vaccine Side Effects

Your safety should be your priority, even if you are taking any medicine or vaccination. The Food and Drug Administration of the United States limited the use of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine after reporting some cases of rare blood clotting.

That is why most Americans are skeptical when it comes to the COVID vaccine. Even though Pfizer and Moderna COVID vaccine manufacturers are somewhat safe to use, you should be very careful and learn about all the general and severe side effects.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention believe that you can experience the below-given list of symptoms as a general side effect of the COVID vaccine. These side effects are not limited when you get the COVID vaccine from Walgreens.

  • Pain on the site of injection
  • Redness on the site of injection
  • Swelling on the site of injection
  • Fever
  • Chills
  • Body pain
  • Headache
  • Fatigue
  • Nausea

Usually, people do not require any medication or medical assistance to get better from these general side effects of the COVID vaccine. In case you are not able to handle the intensity of these symptoms, you can consult with your healthcare provider.

Apart from that, people already struggling with any disease should consult their healthcare provider before getting the vaccine. At the same time, you should also make sure that you are not taking any over-the-counter medication without consulting with your healthcare provider.

Lastly, there is also a probability that you can experience an allergic reaction after taking the COVID vaccine. If you are allergic to any ingredient used in the vaccine or anything in general, then you should consult with your healthcare provider as allergic reactions are known to cause life-threatening situations.

Can I get the same-day COVID vaccine appointment at Walgreens?

Due to the high demand for updated COVID booster shots, you might not be able to get yourself vaccinated on the same day. If you are looking for primary series, then you might be in luck.
